Fernandez promoted to research assistant professor of bioengineering

2012-6-4 - Fernando Fernandez, Ph.D., formerly a postdoctoral fellow in the Neuronal Dynamics Lab, was promoted to research assistant professor of bioengineering. He uses single cell electrophysiology to investigate how neurons transform inputs to outputs, a process critical for processing stimuli, and how input-output relationships can be modified by background activity. The work may aid in developing better treatments for neurological disorders.
